Privacy policy
How information is handled when you use the fomoTX website, trading dashboard and Chrome extension.
About this policy
fomoTX provides account-connected tools for reviewing, submitting and tracking cryptocurrency orders. This policy applies to fomotx.xyz, our API and the fomoTX Chrome extension. fomoTX is independent from Fomo. Fomo, wallet providers and other third-party services have their own privacy policies.
Information we handle
- Account and authentication information: account identifiers, sign-in wallet addresses, linked trading-wallet identifiers, session credentials, extension pairing records and trading-authorization status.
- Wallet and trading information: public wallet and token addresses, networks, balances, order amounts and terms, quotes, fees, signatures, transaction hashes, execution results and order history.
- Extension context: the supported Fomo token page you are viewing, its network and token address, and page structure needed to place the extension controls. This context is used to display the relevant token and process requested actions, rather than build a general browsing-history profile.
- Local browser information: account sessions, temporary pairing state, pending order records and dismissed notices. The website and its authentication provider also use browser storage needed for sign-in and account operation.
- Technical and support information: IP addresses, request metadata, timestamps, errors and security logs processed by our infrastructure, and information you choose to provide when contacting us.
Wallet import takes place in the dedicated dashboard flow through Privy. The import field processes the key to validate the wallet address and passes it to Privy’s wallet import system. The extension does not receive private keys or seed phrases, and the fomoTX API does not receive the imported private key. Never include a private key, seed phrase or session credential in a support request.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate your account, connect the extension, display tokens and balances, obtain quotes, execute orders within your authorization, reconcile uncertain transaction outcomes, prevent duplicate requests, provide support and maintain service security and reliability.
Extension user data is used to provide or improve these user-facing features. We do not sell extension user data, use it for personalized advertising, or use it to determine creditworthiness or lending eligibility. Human access is limited to support with your consent, security or abuse investigations, legal obligations, and other uses permitted by the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy.
Our use and transfer of information received through the Chrome extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Chrome extension permissions
Host permissions allow the extension to work on fomo.family and www.fomo.family and communicate with the fomoTX API. sidePanel provides the trading interface beside the token page. storage preserves account connection, pairing, order recovery and notice state.
The extension bundles its executable JavaScript locally. Remote requests retrieve service data and images; it does not download and execute remote extension code. Account setup opens a separate fomoTX website window.
Retention and your choices
Account, authorization and order records are retained to operate the service, reconcile transactions, investigate security issues and meet applicable obligations. There is currently no single automatic deletion period for all server records. Expiration of a session or order does not itself delete its historical database record. Backups and provider records may have separate retention periods.
You can disconnect the extension, sign out, clear its browser storage or uninstall it to remove locally stored extension data. You can revoke trading authorization in account setup to stop new authorized trading. Disconnecting or uninstalling does not delete server records, revoke all wallet authorizations or cancel orders already accepted by a provider.
Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your account information. We may need to verify account ownership. Requests are subject to applicable rights and exceptions, including records needed for security, unresolved transactions and legal obligations. Public blockchain records cannot be deleted or altered by us.
Security
The extension communicates with the API over HTTPS. Account access and signing are subject to authentication and authorization checks. Extension session credentials are restricted to trusted extension contexts. No system can guarantee absolute security; protect your browser, device and wallet credentials.
Contact and updates
For privacy questions or to request access, correction or deletion, email cha.managements@gmail.com. Include enough information to identify your account, but never send a private key, seed phrase or session credential.
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version; material changes will be communicated where required.
