fomoTX guide · Private mainnet testing

From setup to your first order.

Everything you need to use fomoTX alongside Fomo. Start with sample funds, understand the route, then approve your own trade.

Getting started

fomoTX is an independent Chrome extension and account dashboard. The extension reads the token page you are viewing on Fomo. Your dashboard handles wallet connection, transaction review, orders and balances.

  1. Open Chrome extension setup, download the ZIP and extract it into a folder you will keep.
  2. In desktop Chrome, open chrome://extensions. Enable Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and select the folder containing manifest.json.
  3. Pin fomoTX in Chrome. Open a supported Fomo token page and choose Limit buy or Limit sell beneath Fomo’s Buy / Sell tabs. If Fomo changes its layout, use the floating controls or the toolbar icon.
  4. Choose Demo to explore with sample funds, or Live for an eligible account. Use Wallet & connection to sign in.

The extension has been submitted to the Chrome Web Store. The listing is coming soon. Until then, download directly from this website for private testing. When updating, remove the old extension, extract the new download, and load the new folder. Review windows from an older version may need to be reopened.

Mobile browsers do not support this desktop Chrome workflow. The mobile companion is coming soon; the website remains readable on mobile.

Connect your wallet

Select Connect with Privy in the dashboard. You can sign in with a wallet or email and then link a wallet. Email login by itself does not provide a wallet that can sign trades.

Using a Fomo wallet

There is no verified direct Fomo account connection in this release. For Solana, export only through Fomo’s own wallet controls and import privately into a compatible wallet such as Phantom or Solflare. Then connect that wallet to fomoTX.

Compare the full public address with the address holding your funds in Fomo. On EVM chains, an exported signing key may control a different address from Fomo’s smart account. A matching owner key alone does not establish access to that smart-account balance.

Never paste a seed phrase or private key into fomoTX, a support message, or a website form. Privy connection proves control through your wallet. Smart-account execution and other unsupported wallet types remain unavailable.

Private test access

Live orders require an approved account. After signing in, copy the Private testing ID under Wallet & connection and share that ID with the person coordinating your test. Public wallet addresses can also be approved. Approval never removes the requirement to sign in and prove wallet ownership.

Place an order

  1. Open the token on Fomo. Check the detected network and token contract in the extension. If the page cannot be identified, live order review is unavailable.
  2. Choose buy or sell. A buy amount is denominated in the settlement token: USDC on Solana, Ethereum and BNB; USDG on Robinhood. A sell amount is the amount of the selected token.
  3. Select an available order type. Enter its price, amount, expiry and slippage. Types that are not supported on that chain stay disabled.
  4. Open the secure review. A fomoTX window checks the extension context and loads verified token details. Keep the original Fomo token page open.
  5. Read the provider terms. Check the full wallet and token addresses, amount, minimum output, fees, expiry and any custody notice. A bounded token approval may be requested before the order itself.
  6. Approve in your wallet. Follow status in Orders. Submission is not proof of a fill; wait for confirmed status and final balances.

If the token page changes or a review expires, open a new review. Do not edit the review URL to change an order. After a transaction is sent, retry recording that transaction instead of signing another one.

Understand the order types

Solana price triggers and stops

Jupiter executes a swap when the token’s USD price reaches the selected trigger. A limit-style buy triggers below the target; a limit-style sell triggers above it. A sell stop triggers below the target; a buy stop triggers above it.

A trigger is not a guaranteed fill price. The swap still depends on available liquidity and your slippage setting. Jupiter’s provider minimum is $10 per order. This release supports standard SPL tokens and reviewed transaction layouts; Token-2022 extensions remain unavailable.

Solana trigger orders deposit funds into a Jupiter custodial vault. Those funds are separate from your connected wallet balance. Review that custody acknowledgement before proceeding. Cancellation can pause an order before you finish signing the withdrawal.

Ethereum and BNB limits

1inch receives a signed order with a fixed minimum net output and expiry. This release disables partial and multiple fills. Limits currently support reviewed USDC/WETH pairs on Ethereum and USDC/WBNB pairs on BNB. Wrapped-native tokens are distinct from the ETH or BNB needed for gas.

EVM market swaps

0x provides a fresh route for Ethereum, BNB and Robinhood. The review binds the input amount, output token, recipient, minimum received and network fee cap. Quotes are short-lived; request a fresh review if the market moves or the quote expires.

Not available: EVM stop-loss execution, Robinhood limits, Solana market swaps, DCA, TWAP and volume strategies.

Custom pairs and unusual tokens

You select the token you want to buy or sell, not every pool along the route. A provider can route through intermediate assets, but a token being visible on Fomo does not mean a supported executable route exists.

Unknown instruction layouts, reported transfer taxes, unsupported token programs and unverified contract behavior can cause a quote to be rejected. A quote validation is not an audit of an arbitrary token’s code. Restricted limit pairs are intentional; do not assume every EVM token supports a resting limit order.

Robinhood uses chain ID 4663 and USDG as the dashboard’s settlement token. An ETH balance on Robinhood is separate from an ETH balance on Ethereum.

Slippage, amounts and fees

Slippage limits the movement allowed between a quote and execution. The private testing interface allows 0%–3%. A tighter limit can cause a trade to fail; fomoTX never increases it automatically.

For an EVM limit, the fixed minimum output controls the signed order. For a market quote, review the expected output and minimum received. A Solana USD trigger starts a swap using your chosen slippage; the trigger price itself is not an output guarantee.

Provider fees and network costs vary by route. Review them each time. Keep native SOL, ETH or BNB available for gas, account creation, approvals and cancellation. Funds deposited in a vault do not replace the gas balance in your wallet.

Amounts are checked in token base units to avoid floating-point rounding. If an amount has more precision than the token supports, enter fewer decimal places. Unsupported fees or an excessive network fee cause the request to stop.

Move funds before trading

Wallet & connection includes Relay funding between supported linked wallets. Select a route, source wallet, destination wallet, amount and minimum received. Review the destination and refund address before approving.

Funding is a separate action from an order. Wait for destination settlement and the updated destination balance before trading. A source-chain transaction alone does not prove that funds arrived.

This release accepts validated direct-deposit routes and rejects unknown or additional swap steps. A funding route may be unavailable even when both chains are listed. Failed settlement may require a provider withdrawal or refund; fees can be deducted.

Manage orders and cancellations

Open Orders for the durable record, provider, wallet, status and transaction details. Once the provider has accepted a supported limit or trigger, it can remain active with Chrome closed. An unfinished wallet prompt is not an active order.

StatusWhat to do
Awaiting signatureComplete the current wallet review, or request a fresh eligible quote if it expires.
Submitting / pending / unknownCheck the existing transaction and allow reconciliation. Do not create another order to compensate for uncertainty.
OpenThe provider reports an active order. You can review its details or request cancellation.
CancellingFinish any withdrawal or cancellation signature. An order can still fill before cancellation confirms.
Filled / cancelled / refundedCheck confirmed chain evidence and balances. Provider vault balances are separate from wallet balances.

For Jupiter, reconnect your provider session under Wallet & connection when prompted. If a withdrawal proposal expires after cancellation begins, the provider may require recovery through its own interface; fomoTX will not blindly repeat the withdrawal.

For 1inch, cancellation is an on-chain transaction that needs gas. A refreshed review preserves the same cancellation intent when safe. If a wallet nonce is already reserved for an unresolved transaction, resolve that transaction before authorizing another.

Troubleshooting

The panel cannot detect my token

Open a token’s detail page on Fomo, confirm the address and network are visible, then reopen the side panel. Discovery, profile and portfolio pages may not provide enough context. Never substitute a different contract to get past the check.

My wallet has funds, but the order says insufficient balance

Compare the full wallet address, network and input token. Native ETH/BNB are different from WETH/WBNB; a buy usually spends USDC or USDG. Provider-vault funds and Fomo smart-account funds are separate from the connected external wallet.

The quote expired while approval was pending

Retry the existing review to check the same approval transaction. Once approval confirms, request a fresh quote before sending the swap. If a transfer may already have been sent, follow its existing record instead.

My transaction was sent, but the dashboard shows an error

Keep the transaction hash. Use the recording retry when offered; it records the same broadcast without sending again. The worker also checks the reserved nonce for supported EVM transactions. Do not place a duplicate while status is unresolved.

The dashboard cannot connect

Check your connection and choose Refresh. Sign in again if your session expired. The extension’s Demo mode works with sample funds and is separate from live balances. If the provider or service is unavailable, wait instead of approving an unverified transaction.

I can log in, but live trading is unavailable

Check your private test access, selected wallet type, network and order type. Some features are intentionally disabled. Copy your Private testing ID from Wallet & connection for the test coordinator.

Wallet safety and release scope

fomoTX is not affiliated with Fomo and does not reuse Fomo login sessions. The extension reads token context; wallet authorization happens in the owned fomoTX review window. Provider credentials stay on the backend.

  • Check addresses and amounts in both the review and the wallet prompt.
  • Never share a private key or seed phrase. Treat any disclosed key as compromised and retire that wallet.
  • Test with small amounts you can afford to lose and maintain a gas reserve.
  • Review Jupiter vault custody, provider fees and refund terms before depositing.
  • Remember that testing and validation do not guarantee a fill or eliminate smart-contract, token, liquidity or provider risk.

The release has automated and read-only mainnet checks. Funded wallet signatures, fills, withdrawals and the installed extension’s complete lifecycle require separate acceptance testing. No feature marked “coming soon” is enabled by connecting a wallet.
